Description
Our #2 Common Grade Solid White Oak Flooring is a floor full of natural characters, such as small knots, dark streaks called mineral streaks, and plenty of color variation caused by the contrast between the darker Heartwood and the lighter Sapwood. Plan for a waste factor of 10% in this grade, so you can take the liberty to cull out some boards that are unsightly, or cut out a knot here and there that you may consider too large.
This is solid hardwood that is 3/4″ thickness, 3 1/4″ wide, and features traditional varying lengths from 1 to 7 feet long. Each plank features tongue and groove milling on both sides and both ends. This flooring can be installed with a variety of different flooring staplers that are made for installation of 3/4″ hardwood flooring.
Because this flooring is unfinished, be prepared to sand and finish this flooring on your jobsite after installation.
