Types of Amendoim Flooring Available
Amendoim flooring comes in 2 main construction types: Solid Amendoim Flooring and Engineered Amendoim Floors. We offer both of these types of Amendoim flooring in several different sizes and different thicknesses.
What is Solid Amendoim Hardwood?
Amendoim Flooring that is Solid Hardwood means that each floor plank is made of just one solid piece of wood. This is the traditional construction method used for centuries when making wood floors. We offer an assortment of solid Amendoim floors at prices well below retail.
What is Engineered Amendoim Flooring?
The term Engineered, when used in reference to Amendoim floors, means that each individual plank is made up of multiple layers of wood, similar to plywood, with the real Amendoim layer being the top layer that you see after the floor is installed. This type of Amendoim floor is more stable than solid hardwood, and therefore you can use it in certain places where you typically could not install a solid wood floor product, like a basement for example.
