5″ #3 Common Unfinished Solid White Oak Flooring

Description

This 3/4″ thick hardwood is constructed of solid American White Oak. The planks are 5 inches wide and come in random lengths. In this grade of flooring, don’t expect many boards longer than 3 or 4 feet long, even though it is packaged in 7 foot long bundles. Defects that you can expect in this flooring may include naturally occurring knots, some of which go all the way through the board, and there is no limit to the size of the knots in this grade of flooring. Other naturally occurring defects may include mineral marks, wormholes, checking, etc and workmanship errors such as broken and/or missing tongues and grooves, splits, cracks, saw marks in the face and/or sides of the boards, etc.

This #3 common grade white oak flooring is a value-based product. Expect a high percentage of waste in this grade, sometimes up to 35%, and it is important to read this product description in it’s entirety before ordering so that you have a proper understanding of the product and have proper expectations before ordering.
