Unfinished Engineered Herringbone Flooring
Should I order Engineered Herringbone Hardwood flooring?
Herringbone is different from standard random-length hardwood floors. Each board for a given product has the same dimensions allowing the well-loved Herringbone pattern to emerge during installation. One of the main reasons people choose Engineered Herringbone over Solid Herringbone is because it can be installed over concrete without needing a subfloor to be built. Engineered Herringbone is not necessarily less expensive, though both are great quality. We recommend discussing the Solid or Engineered Herringbone options with a professional flooring installer to determine what will work best in your specific situation.
