Description
This 2 1/4″ Unfinished Solid White Oak flooring is manufactured from premium Rift &Â Quarter Sawn white oak lumber. That means that this flooring is more dimensionally stable than plain sawn white oak, because quarter sawn hardwood expands and contracts vertically, instead of horizontally. For that reason, Rift &Â Quarter Sawn flooring will have less inconsistency in plank width, and will not have expansion / contraction issues each season like plain sawn flooring is notorious for having.
Also, Rift &Â Quarter Sawn White Oak is ideal for application over In-Floor Radiant Heating systems!
This Select &Â Better Grade White Oak is the cleanest grade available, free from any significant amount of knots and character flaws.
This hardwood features tongue and groove milling on the sides and ends of each plank. This flooring measures 3/4″ thick, 2 1/4″ wide and comes in random lengths from 1 to 7 feet long.
