Description
#3 Common Hickory Flooring is also known as “utility” grade, which is intended for very budget conscious projects. It is random length flooring, but you shouldn’t expect many boards that are longer than 3 or 4 feet long. This grade will require more cutting and filling of knotholes during installation compared to the higher grades that we offer. You should be prepared for the following issues:

- Knot holes through the board that will need to be filled or cut out
- Unfinished ends that will need to be cut straight before installation
