Featured here is our premium rift & quarter sawn white oak flooring in the 7 inch width in a 3/4″ solid construction. This unique blend of Rift &Â Quarter Sawn boards has increased in popularity not only because of it’s striking visual appeal, but also because of it’s incredible strength and dimensional stability.
Because the grain of a rift &Â quartersawn floor is angled more towards the face of each plank, it is more dent resistant than a similar floor that is plain sawn. It is also this angle at which the hardwood is sawn that makes each plank more dimensionally stable, which is why it is preferred in places with higher relative humidy, or places with dramatic seasonal changes.
This Select &Â Better grade flooring offers a more uniform grain pattern and color than any other grade. This grade is very well at home in nearly any style of home or business. Great care has been taken to remove unwanted natural imperfections in this grade, leaving only the finest lumber to be included.
The dimensions of this material are 3/4″ thickness, 7 inch width, and random lengths from 1 to 8 feet long. Each plank features tongue and groove milling for a tight fit and an easy installation. Made in the USA.
