Miller’s Series 3/4″ x 5″ Solid European Oak by BareRoots brings the warmth, depth, and timeless beauty of genuine solid hardwood into a collection built for modern living. Milled from character-grade European white oak using precision German equipment, these wide-plank floors offer everything solid hardwood promises — authentic grain, full refinishing potential, and a presence that can’t be replicated. At 5″ wide and a full 3/4″ thick, each plank is Live Sawn from European white oak, a cutting method that exposes the full range of ray fleck, medullary lines, and grain variation that define this species at its most expressive. Random lengths ranging from 16″ to 72″ bring natural rhythm to any installation, eliminating the mechanical repetition of uniform-length floors and keeping each room feeling genuinely unique. Every plank in the Miller’s Series is wire-brushed to open the grain and enhance the natural texture of the oak, creating a surface that feels as considered as it looks. The micro-beveled edges and ends provide clean definition between planks, lending structure and intentionality to the finished floor. Character grade milling means each board carries its own story — knots, mineral streaks, and color variation are features here, not imperfections. As solid hardwood, Miller’s Series can be sanded and refinished multiple times over its lifetime, making it a true long-term investment in your home. Installation is nail-down or staple-down over a wood subfloor, and all colorways ship with an aluminum oxide prefinished surface backed by a 30-year limited finish warranty. Miller’s Series is available in nine colorways — eight character-grade selections ranging from light and natural to rich, deeply toned expressions, plus one select-grade option for those seeking a cleaner, more consistent appearance. Whether you’re after the sun-bleached character of Millstone, the rustic warmth of Log Camp, or the refined consistency of Natural Select, there’s a Miller’s Series floor for the room you’re designing.
